Trying To Keep Sane
I said that I perhaps would not post again.
Now, though I am and just as I did with my sister, Mary, I feel I need to vent my feelings anonymously to keep a lid on my emotions.
Before I start, I should say that my personal life is good, I’m doing what I want to and have a great relationship with the same man from the Midlands. We have everything we want. What business I do these days, is also going well.
I’ve not mentioned much on this blog, about my son, although my daughter has featured many times.
He was doing a job in a big city in the North East and fell ill. At first it was thought that it was a gall stone, but attempts by the hospital to remove it all ended in failure. So he took the train back to mother and I presented him at A&E at the appropriate teaching hospital. They accepted him without any problem and he’s been there for most of the time for the last four weeks.
It looked like a gall bladder problem and in the end they decided to take his gall bladder out. Now I’m not one for surgery, but it was his decision and I respect it.
But he still didn’t appear to be getting better at the rate the hospital would have liked. And now an MRI scan has shown that he has a mass on his pancreas and a clot in a vein to the liver.
Prognosis could be very good, but I’m not sure. With my luck, I just don’t know.
So perhaps to post here, is a logical place to get my feelings in line.
I’ve called him Harry in this post and will do in future. It is not his real name, but sometimes I reread the Mary posts, when I’m down and thinking of her. So to add a name may help.
